because you couldn't say we were worth a win, we were at home we started both halfs well for the first 10 minutes of each and then let them play their football, arsenal will be leaving anfield wondering how they never got the win, and we were lucky not toget beat in the end

Although we played poor today at times...This is Anfield! Gerrard played with his heart on his shirt which was good to see. The biggest positive from the game was Peter Crouch showing he can offer more than the threat Kuyt and the Ukranian put together. If Alonso and Torres are long term injuries we are in serious trouble. We should have won this game today and id say Fergusion is laughing all the way home. I predict the media will be hunting for Rafa now Jol is gone.

Out passed maybe, but not outplayed.

I was pretty pleased with the 2nd half performance. We matched them chance for chance and I think we've finally found a formation which gets the best of El Jefecito, Xabi and SG.

Considering the injuries as well, I think we did pretty good.

AND we have Riise on the pitch, thats another handicap right there.

Mybe outplayed is to strong, but we didn't match their chances. Nowhere near.

We played like an away team at Anfield. They completely outplayed us and hit the bar twice and then missed to open goals.

We've spent a lot of money recently and what do we have to show for it? Out the CL and 6 points behind a team that just came to our home ground and f*cked us up the ass.

We were played off the park by Arsenal, they played pass and move football of the highest quality.

I think this performance kind of sums us up under Rafa. Maximum effort but very little in the way of craft. Crouch came on and did more to create but he should have started instead of a half-fit Torres.

Dude, your out of order. We played at home today and Arsenal played us off the park. People are allowed be upset at the manner Rafa put the team out. We deserve to finish 4th and thats being positive

credit where its due, arsenal are on the verge of being a brilliant team and will continue to dominate the league with performances like that. Arsene wenger is a brilliant manager. if its not us then i hope its them, good luck to him and his team.
