The Alonso injury hurt us. We couldn't pass a ball afterwards.

I'm disappointed but I hope this formation will stay, just get Kuyt and Voronin off and put on players who can create something.

We were all hopefull of hanging on, but that's all it would have been. We've been completely outplayed (again) at Anfield by a team who we're going to have to catch to compete in the league. We won't. We're not good enough. Not terrible, but not good enough.

Out passed maybe, but not outplayed.

I was pretty pleased with the 2nd half performance. We matched them chance for chance and I think we've finally found a formation which gets the best of El Jefecito, Xabi and SG.

Considering the injuries as well, I think we did pretty good.

AND we have Riise on the pitch, thats another handicap right there.

We're twice the side when Xabi alonso plays, in fact we'd have won if he'd stayed on.

It's ridiculous. Everyone was saying we'd get slaughtered by Arsenal. It didnt happen, but reading this thread you'd say we lost again.

And then some complain about Andy Gray saying nothing good about Liverpool. At least he doesnt pretend to be a Liverpool Fan
