I think Kuyt could be a very effective central striker for us if he was allowed to play that role. The way Rafa plays him is doing the lad no favours.

I hate the way Kuyt has become the forum scapegoat lately as I think he's a very talented player.

You have to play players in their natural positions to get the best out of them.

how can you say he has no class, skill or pace...for 90 mins he runs flat out chasing lost causes, applying pressure on defenders and setting up other players. he will also chip in with 10-15 goals a season. i think kyut is exactly what we need at liverpool and i only wish every player tried as much as him every game.

Kuyt is a good squad player who works hard for the team and does his job. He may not be a striker but he is a support striker that was played at right mid today. He did a good job defensively like he always does. He creates chances and defends from the front.

An important player.

If people wanted to slag Voronin i would understand as he clearly shouldnt be getting games but Kuyt is a different story.
