Finnan, Gerrard and Carragher for example.

So what do you want? Wins and tired looking players or defeats and fit as **** looking players?

Gerrard was having a bad spell, still didn't look tired to me at all.
Carragher has been injured and a punctured lung is surely going to effect his stamina levels
Finnan is not ****ing tired, he's as solid as he's ever been

i think you're looking for something that isn't there, even if those players were tired, you've got Finnan who can't be rotated because arbeloa is out, and gerrard away on international break, and carra who's been injured. However i don't buy any of that anyway so it doesn't matter

We are not really winning that many games this season. If you include the CL and CC then we have won 6 games, drawn 6 and lost 2.

The only games we have won the last few weeks are against Reading in the CC and Everton in the league. We have not really played any difficult team if you don't include Arsenal during that time.

What I want is fit players that will be able to run the whole game. The more you train the more you will be able to run.

Of course you can't train to much because then you will get injuries because of that.

If you believe Rafa then we trained less this pre-season. That means that the players won't be able to run as much as before. That means less pressure and less off the ball movement. Not that much but you will still not be able to put in the same amount of work with less pre-season training.

Of course our trip to Singapore didn't help either. Long flights and very difficult training conditions.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

We've started the season better than in all Rafa's previous ones, so I can't understand AFII's reasoning there. What's with all this bollocks of less training ??? Training has just been 'altered', I don't think it has anything to do with training less.

Missing Alonso and Agger is by far the main reason for our "poor" form. Looking any deeper is just over analysis and largely speculation.

Mascherano and Gerrard play better when Alonso is in the team and today was one of the best examples you could get. Infact the whole team plays better when he is in the team and that is why he is our most important (not necessarily best) player IMO.

I hope a few of his detractors start to realise this.

The reason the players were so knackered yesterday is because virtually to a man they worked their bollox off trying to close Arsenal down and deny them space.
When that failed and they opened us up we worked like dogs to win it back.
Our boys grafted for 90 minutes yesterday, they deserved to be blowing a bit in the last 15.

Well, we did that the last season without our players being that tired at the end of the games last season. It's a difference.

If you are just that little bit more unfit then you will need to work harder for everything and you will get tired quicker.

I would even suggest that it's a reason to why Rafa rotates as much as he does this season. He will need to rest the players more to keep them fit. I think it's around five changes/game this season.

Rafa overruled him and decided to do things his way. That's the main reason to why Pako left.

If you believe the media that's.
