Why are the media not saying anything about our injury crisis?

    Why are the media not saying anything about our injury crisis?

    We have 7 players that would get into the starting 11 out injured at the moment.

    Kewell
    Alonso
    Torres
    Agger
    Mascherano
    Alvaro
    Pennant

    Why was there such a fuss made of Manure last season when the media kept on going on about 16 players injured for them when they including Charthcart or whatever his name is who is an U18 the only player they had out was Neville I think. Same with Chelsea they had Cech, Terry and Calvalho that's only 3 players important players but still it was only 3. The way I see the media love sticking the boot into Rafa, why do they hate him so much? Did he sleep with all there wives?
    I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

    Rafa is now the next target for the media after the Jol witch hunt ended in a success.
    Just believe and you never know what will happen.

    According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

      Because they are fcuking cocks with nothing better to do than hate Liverpool. Have to admit that I got sucked in and started slating the team and Rafa after the continous sh*t in the media on rotation and how Rafa was ruining our chances etc.

      So depressing reading the stuff at the moment. How we're not good enough, we're out of the race etc etc. They are building pressure on Rafa at the moment and all this stick we get has an affect on some fans and manifests itself in the atmosphere at games. Knock-on effects.

      They're always going to do that. We never got any credit when we beat Milan in Istanbul. I refuse to read any newspapers or even watch Sky Sports News now. I get my LFC news off here...but lately even this site has become depressing with the player/manager bashing that goes on

        But why Rafa????? Is it that most of the media didn't support Liverpool growing and hated it? I can see Manure getting the same sort of stick in 5-10 years time when all the guys who went to school between 93-2001 get jobs in the media.

            It's our turn.

            The scum were hated for a time and the chavs.
            There is no real high profile news out there so the pigs with the pens have to stir things up with their scribbled bile.

            Rafa and Liverpool are high profile - Jol/Allerdyce and co. are not.
            Do you think anyone would care about Gollums thoughts on a ref if it didn't involve us?

            Liverpool have 100's of millions of fans around the world (I use the word 'fans' generally as I know some of you do not beleive they are) where S** sell their product, and they use the old saying 'no such thing as bad publicity' the other way around - for their needs NOT the person in focus.

            They need us - we turn their crap into gold.

              I hope you continue to see the light. If you look at the big picture and by that I mean the next 20 years and what we could achieve it becomes easier to take the losses/draws/unconvincing wins against the BS.

              Rafa is here to stay IMO and he will achieve more with our support than he will without. We all need to understand it may not happen this year and considering the injuries we are having its best to think maybe not this year (although I am far from giving up).

              Progress is the "precious" for now. Lets see where we are at the end of the year before we get all "Spurs/Newcastle" like.

                      There's practically a page in the Times today about us suffering lots of injuries

                      The 'Media' (ie not the chav tabloids) havent really been saying much more than comments on here as far as I can see - namely, we havent been playing all that well and this could be due to Rafa's rotation policy and the number of injuries. I dont think there's been much personal slanging of Rafa just mild bemusement at why he doesnt play his strongest team every game.

                      However, if you add the tabloids and the muppets who commentate for Sky, then yes you do see a lot more disrespectful comments being made. But since when have we worried about what they say?
