to be honest i have never fancy Reina because he has no "presence" in the box mainly due to the fact that he is not very tall, for a keeper.

I totally disagree with that. I think he is a good keeper despite messing up once today, and one of his strengths is his presence

Pennant has been playing well since pre season and in the proper games but somehow he is not getting many starts.
Drop Alonso and get Pennant in. Gerrard back to the middle.

We haven't been at the races at all in defence this season,including pre season where we shipped alot of goals and it obviously affected confidence because we look very shaky.To be honest If we get the confidence back in defence and tighten up i don't see a whole lot else wrong.They took their chances and we didn't.It was just one of those day's we were never going to score.only for defensive mistakes it would'nt have mattered.Reina was made to look alot better than he is by an excellent defence last season,but Dudek dosen't inspire my confidence either.

It's asif the defence thought they could "rest" after last season.

I suppose Riise and Carra being in and out hasn't helped.

Once we get a couple of clean sheets on the board we can hopefully start showing some confidence. The problem is, I can't see that happening in the next week at the moment.

I'm going to count out one of the Cup Final ones (not blaming him for a freak cross-shot) or the other lucky West Ham goal (again, cross-shot).

But I'll add the one v Birmingham last year.

He's probably made a few more.
