There’s a better wankfest to be had on Strictly, frankly, with the dazzling Kelly Brook and Penny ‘LEGS!’ Lancaster.

As has been covered, given the circumstances Rafa is almost bound to “go solid” and pick the usual workhorses who lack a goal threat. We looked lively when Yossi and Kewell came on the other night and it makes a difference having skilful ball players in our front 6 rather than hard working hackers.

        I’d love to see:

        Reina

        Finnan
        Carra
        Sami
        Arbeloa

        Yossi
        Mascherano
        Lucas
        Gerrard
        Kewell

        Crouch

But there’s absolutely no chance. I think I might cry if I see the teamsheet and it’s Dirk & Andriy up front again.

I'd love it, ****ing love it if Rafa would just push the boat out and give Yossi and Babel or Kewell a chance to reek havoc around their centre backs. They are missing Savage and probably that Moekana (sp) as well so are ripe for the picking in middle with Gerrard, Lucas/Momo and Masher.

I'll be distraught to see Kuyt and Voronin sitting in on the flanks marshalling the creative talents of Emerton and Warnock

Can’t believe Gaby went last week, mind. She was excellent.

          Er……

It’s on at 17:45-19:15 – in my house it will be Sky+’d, along with X-Factor.
Not sure about his presence but his arse is bigger than the moon.
Gaby was shamefully treated and we fully suspect some kind of TV voting conspiracy scam to be the true reason for her departure. I mean, when you've got the likes of Kate Garroway (?), the rugby bloke, and the annoying little chimpy feller still in, questions should be asked. Outrageous.

And I'm getting more disenchanted with the X Factor by the week. Most of them are just downright rubbish. Except Riddion. Who is my new favourite person in the world.

I feel Sky+ could be the answer but can't see as I'll be able to get her to miss Strictly. I'm on the horns of a dilemma.

Er... Crouch to start with Kuyt. Benayoun and Aurelio in the wide positions.

Kelly Brook is one fine ballroom dancer. She glides across the floor like a really good glidey thing. Watching her every Saturday evening is a pure joy however it's when I un zip my jeans and pull my y fronts down just before she is about to take to the floor that I seem to get shouted at by the missus.

Yes I meant Digger’s large physical presence. It’s quite sad to see him wobbling around the dancefloor. My wife reckons he is “extremely likeable”, though, which for some reason made me beam. “He is, isn’t he darling? He really is…”

Agreed about the X-Factor. They’re all rubbish. That Rhydian (sp?) is good at what he does but he doesn’t do pop, so by the show’s very nature he shouldn’t win.

              Er…..um………………..Aurelio on the bench.

It's a possibility of course. But most pubs near me are filled with knuckle scraping baboons, bereft of the capacity to engage in a meaningful debate over the colour of orange juice, never mind the intricacies of zonal marking. And I'd probably end up being thrown out for being an 'outsider' anyway.

For some reason I felt personally affronted when Barnes was in the bottom two the other week. Even if he does have something of the air of a tipsy uncle at a wedding about him. And frankly, his top half is simply a mess.

Don't forget the divine Ola mind (partnering rugby boy) ,and that one who's with chimpy lugs who seems to wear less clothes by the week.

....can't afford another draw, particularly as Man U and Arsenal will be taking points off each other, etc.

I'm happy I'm not a Mod, it would be very difficult to decide if the thread has been hi-jacked or not.

.....Crouch in the stands and Della Valle plays instead of him
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Back to the subject of football lads......leaving the strickly for ponces chat for elsewhere :-).......................just kidding!!

Impossible to 2nd guess Rafa but he was talking about the importance of not slipping further behind united and arsenal this weekend so that means he wants a win. Can see the team being somethink like this:

                      ------------Reina-------------
                      Finnan---Sami---Carra---Arbeloa
                      SG-----Lucas----Masch---Benni
                      -----Crouch------Kuyt---------
                      Dare we believe

That team is exactly what I'd put on the pitch.

No chance of Kewell starting. I'll be shocked if he gets the nod.

My biggest hope for this match is that Rafa sticks with 4-2-3-1. Gerrard is a much better player in this formation, but at least one of Kuyt or Voronin is nailed on to start and I'm dreading a Sissoko/Masch partnership should Rafa pick it.
