tbh you cant get on your high horse rocket mate. Although i'd agree Shaggy is well out of order slagging off cardiff fans per se, he's right when we compare the two.
Lets face it there's loads more Kopites going to Cardiff than th other way round, and I've been every time we went down there. I never saw trouble down there once [although I'd happily admit I can't be everywhere in the city!] Last night we saw the other way round - about 5-6000 Cardiff fans came up and ran riot in various pubs around the ground and all along Scotty Road on their way up from Lime Street. I haven't seen a police presence outside the ground [at the Kop end] like it for many a year [probably 20].
And as for inside the ground - well I can't say I'm overly bothered that they got in the Main Stand and the Centenary in such numbers - it's happened before and usually adds to the atmosphere. However, last night most [not all] in the Main Stand by me [dont ask - forgot to tick the box for me Seasie in the Kop] were complete knobheads. Normal folks were getting abused something rotten, and i had two young kids sitting near me who looked a bit scared by the whole thing. Not sure if they'll be keen to come back soon, and thjis is partly my worry. There were a lot of non-regulars at the game last night - how many will be put off by the experience?

Good post fella...............the way I look at it is, lastnight was their final and every tom ,dick and prick were trying to get a ticket, the same as us in athens where loads of pricks went out of their way to get over there



I go to a few city games ( more for the piss up before and after ) and i've only seen trouble once, that was when on a hot summers day a transit van pulled up outside the canton cross and about 15 leicester fans jumped out and charged everyone outside drinking

But yeah....those other Brits who adopt the "Everton/Manc mentality" of singing constantly about the English and generally being very bitter indeed, have a chip on their shoulder.

Oh come on Kaip man. That bit was off-topic but I stand by it. I'd like to hear what you think of it. Cardiff fans, Swansea fans, Wales fans...whoever....acting towards "the English" like Evertonians do towards us LFC fans.

I mean...it's ****ing incessant. Cardiff fans sing more about the English than they do their own club. It positively screams "EVERTON!" or, worse "Mancs". That's what they do.

And just to reiterate... I am talking in a sporting sense, not real life.

I reckon most of it is just because the Welsh, Scots and Irish know that it winds up the English so much though! And the English can be just as chippy when they want to be - England never exit a tournament gracefully, there's always some great conspiracy or hate figure to blame!

Listen mate...I'm no England fan and anyone who's read (and remembered ) my posts on England football supporters will know what I think of them - pure ****ing scum - albeit for different reasons.

To the best of my knowledge, England's moronic element don't spend their entire time singing about what ****holes Scotland, Ireland and Wales are - they're too busy making Nazi salutes, spitting venom at the manager, throwing tables and chairs around town squares, and kicking the **** out of the locals.

I think that most Welsh, Scottish, Irish and English has a chip on there shoulder. That's the problem when we all live on the same island (Except Ireland). The Scottish and Welsh are bitter about the English, yet the English are very bitter about Scotland, Wales when they do well you just have to look at some of the posts the other week about Scotland doing well in the qualifiers when they looked like they were getting through ("I hope Scotland make it cause it's always entertaining when they get knocked out" as a lot of English posters said) I am 100% sure it would be the same with the Welsh when they make it to a comp. Yet the English wonder why there is a lot of bitterness? Scotland and Wales PUT TOGETHER make the total population of Greater London, I would like to see England play one sport let alone two at a high standard.
