Was it a deliberate tactic to keep it tight for the first 75 mins and only go for it in the last 15? Certainly seemed that way.
I've not lost faith in Rafa by any stretch, even though his selections seem questionable.
Kuyt's obviously not good enough but he is also completely out of form. He is technically poor and slow, but there's a lot more to that **** performance than just that. There is just no plausible/comprehensible reason to continue playing him when he is so out of sorts, however much he may fit into the system Rafa wants to play. He was truly woeful and if he now plays against the Turks then that's a huge chunk of my faith in Rafa ebbed away. It's time to cut our losses with Kuyt.
The lack of faith in Crouch is also truly troubling when it is clear in our last two league games we have been a much more potent attacking force when he's been on the pitch.
