Seems more and more like Rafa's lost the dressing room.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostOr rather a lack of it.
I think this is just one of many problems contributing to our woeful form.
United and Arsenal have fantastic unity, and I can't see the same in our lads. Too much bickering, sniping, shouting and bawling at each other.
Our dressing room doesn't seem unified at all. There's a lack of trust on the pitch. One or two of the senior players appear to be becoming disillusioned with the non-performers - namely Kuyt, Sissoko and Riise.
I'm worried about a split dressing room and if you've got a split dressing room, the only way is down.
Or am I imagining things?

Elisha Scott on YNWA said the other day that Rafa is alienating people within the club. Now, that came from him being pissed off about SG being subbed in the derby game, but nevertheless it does go towards affirming to me what I've felt the last few weeks - the players look less together, and the team has less direction as a unit. I think it's far from 'Rafa has lost the dressing room', but I do get the impression he needs to recapture the players faith in his ability and overall vision - it seems to me to have waned slightly.Like blood on iron

The team is working it´s way out of a dip in form.
IMO if the players would not be somewhat highly strung I would be worried.
The old Liverpool legends always said: What is said on the pitch, stays on the pitch.
Plus if Rafa is alienating staff within the club, IMO that could be very good news.
It has been my feeling for the last two seasons that there are people within the club putting pressure on the players. So if Rafa now has the power to get these people out that to me is only good news.

If that is true and it probably is if you look at the source, then Rafa could be in big troubleOriginally posted by Red_Polo View PostElisha Scott on YNWA said the other day that Rafa is alienating people within the club. Rafa need to reward players that has played a good game with a start in the next one, every time it happens.
Houllier didn't do that, he picked his favourite players and Rafa is now doing the same thing. Kuyt, Riise and Momo are three examples. No one of them are good enough to play for us but they do that and players that have played better are benched.
Lucas should have played instead of Momo.
Aurelio should have played instead of Riise.
Crouch should have played instead of Kuyt.
I can't find one single reason to why Momo, Kuyt and Riise played today instead of Lucas, Aurelio and Crouch. Not a single one.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I agree completely. There were a couple of points this evening. Carra and Gerrard both had real pops at one or two of the team. One thing stood out for me tonight though and that was when Gerrard had the ball and was in the penalty area, Momo had found a gap and broke through and Gerrard chose to hit it out wide instead. To me it was blatantly obvious that he had no faith in Momo making something out of it.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostOr rather a lack of it.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."
I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Its good Carra and SG are giving rockets to some of the under-performers. It shows the passion by the two and the leadership and the amount of responsibility they are willing to accept.
We aren't playing brilliantly so it is time these two stood up and take notice.
Rafa needs to take these lot on some sort of bonding exercise over the next few days. Get them to gel with each other, army obstacle course sessions, quad biking or something. They seem like they don't like playing with each other. Not only do the players get to know each other a wee bit more but it gives Rafa the chance to take a wee break and look at the situation amongst the squad and try and rectify it by Tuesday.

some players can play **** and play week in, week out.
Others come in look good then get bombed out after playing well.
Personally if i was a player i would not know what the **** was going on.
Rafa is bottling the big decisions if this continues G & T have one very big decision to make_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!
