Wanna talk about bad team spirit?

After Fabregas scored the first goal he ran towards the Arsenal bench and Wenger got ready to give him a big hug. But Fabregas ran right past him as if he was not there. Looked rather bad for Wenger.

Now when Gallas scored his goal he ran straight to Wenger and gave him that hug he so wanted.

So clearly Fabregas does not like Wenger.

I saw that, but thought the 4th official stepped in and cut it out. Was very odd and did make Wenger look Billy no mates.

i fundamentally disagree that spirit is bad amongst the team.

fine, they're arguing on the pitch- its down to the pressure of getting it right in imo

our lads may not be able to pass to each other, create chances or sometimes even control a ball.

but they work their bollox off and work is the first thing that drops off when players have stopped caring

No, he just ran past him like he was not there.

Aye, thought Monsters was one of the few to have a good games yesterday- he was on to the loose balls like a shot.

carra needs to have a long look at some of the others -and himself- before MonsterMasher.

That is a good thing - Rafa would have players lost the player if they just were resigned to defeat, but they fought hard (as usual)
Last week - arsenal were all over us at times, but we still fought hard (in the way rafa sets up the team, everyone works as a unit, so if someone doesnt pull their weight, we get opend up)
Senior players - JC and SG have really improved their play and other senior players - Sami - have really step up when needed
What is missing is a settled, best 11,injury free team
I agree. Team spiit was alive and well against Everton a couple of weeks ago and against Arsenal. We're in a rut but 3/4 of the EPL would like to be in that sort of rut. 6 points of the leaders without 3 of our best players and playing well below capacity-theres plenty of upside to come.

I think this is just one of many problems contributing to our woeful form.

United and Arsenal have fantastic unity, and I can't see the same in our lads. Too much bickering, sniping, shouting and bawling at each other.

Our dressing room doesn't seem unified at all. There's a lack of trust on the pitch. One or two of the senior players appear to be becoming disillusioned with the non-performers - namely Kuyt, Sissoko and Riise.

I'm worried about a split dressing room and if you've got a split dressing room, the only way is down.

                      Or am I imagining things?
I can see what you are saying but I see it as a symptom of a collective lack of confidence. I can't say where it is coming from but people aren't holding onto the ball and trying to do everything themselves they aren't backing themselves or doing things with conviction. I don't see people not passing to each other but I also don't see people pinging passes to one another knowing they will stick.

I feel we are lacking the sort of player who has the personality who sparks others around them. Gerrard can do it at times but over time he doesn't seem to have the joie de vivre necessary to communicate it to others when he is not on top form personally.

I actually thought there were signs though in the Blackburn game of us regaining the confidence in the fact we would control midfield. Hopefully a good attacking performance against Besiktas will see us get some of our attacking players playing with confidence.

there's been a bust up with pako and a bust up with crouch. and at times we've looked like we don't care.

then second half against arsenal we grafted and showed some character.

i reckon there's something going on behing the scenes. the pako bust up is disturbing given they've been in each others pocke for 11 years. the crouch bust up wouldn't be disturbing if it wasn't seemingly carried over into matters of team selection.

just out of interest, have they ever said when its otherwise. i'm just wondering whether they're being honest or being professionally discreet.

One thing stood out for me tonight though and that was when Gerrard had the ball and was in the penalty area, Momo had found a gap and broke through and Gerrard chose to hit it out wide instead. To me it was blatantly obvious that he had no faith in Momo making something out of it.
