Lots of negative stuff about Rafa

All I want us to do is pass and move, score goals and win the league - six will follow.

Valencia and Liverpool are not comparable in any way. Rafa got us 5 but he's alienated and lost people he has worked with for many years, gets an increasing amount of stick from supporters, including those who are fortunate to be match-goers, and seems to have pissed off many in the squad.

His rotation policy doesn't seem to be working - in many ways - and his treatment of certain players, eg Crouchy borders on...on...on... well, stupidity etc, at times.

A team is a body of players that play together regularly - understand one another and play for one another - that's basic stuff. The fact that he doesn't seem to consider this important is a part of Rafa's psyche that I can't get to grips with

I don't know what I think, tbh, but I'm not calling for Rafa's head, but somethings got to improve...and it's the manager...maybe...

I'd like to see the nodding dog crew try and argue against this post with valid points, as opposed to completely speculative stuff like "but we WILL go on a run" etc.

Our injured players will come back, and our players will probably remember how to pass a ball at some point. Luckily we havent slipped too far behind whilst playing ****e.

Why is everyone forgetting we have lost Torres, Agger and Xabi for over a month and all at the same time. When scum lost Rooney + Ronaldo to suspension, they struggled and so did Chelsea last year when they lost Cech and Terry and even this year. I think people need to realise that if a team like Chelsea that won back to back titles came 2nd due to injuries to Terry and Cech then it is unrealistic for us to win the title this season given our injuries affect us far worse.
When Kewell came on today, it showed how we had been missing our best winger (when fit) for so long and we would be so much better going forward if he can stay fit. Imagine a team with a fit Torres, Alonso, Agger and Kewell.

I remember many years ago a Manager was within minutes of being sacked, the fans were turning/had turned against him and then a last minute goal bought him some breathing space

His team went on to win the FA Cup that year

I dont think anyone is ever saying everything is rosy. I can see our faults but I can also see positives and Id rather focus on them and go forward than focus on the faults and ultimately go backward.

Is focusing on the faults something that makes us go backwards?

Like all problems, you can only begin to solve them by actually acknowledging them.

Well said. Why people can't see that is beyond me.

I can't wait for Torres, Agger and Alonso to come back - but let's not kid ourselves completely; we weren't playing anywhere near as well as we can even when they were all fit.

I'd say we've had two excellent performances - Chelsea & Derby - and two decent ones - Villa and Sunderland.

Pretty much everything else has been rubbish and much of that with Torres, Agger & Alonso in the side.

Having said all that, we were below par and with those three back in the side and our other top players back in some sort of form, we can fly again. We can go on a run of 8, 9 or 10 wins on the trot. Done it before, so why not again.

But we've got to improve tenfold to do it again.
