The mediocre teams in Spain are better than the ones in England. BUT this is where things are looking up, the likes of Blackburn, Portsmouth etc etc are also becoming a lot better and more difficult to beat. So, they'll be taking more points from the top teams than last season. Maybe 75 points won't win the league this season. BUT next season it may. I'm not too fussed how things are going, only the start of the season and we're still unbeaten. I'm not saying we're going to win the league or even make a good challenge but I'm satisfied with things so far.

I don't agree with the first part of that but I do certainly share your views on the second part. Rafa should get at least until the end of this season but he should most definitely be judged on this season.

Should we finish well off the pace in 3rd or 4th - or heaven forbid 5th - he has to go. If we enjoy a resurgence and finish a close 3rd or higher then he will undoubtedly have earned another shot.
