We're not playing great but we're unbeaten so we've picked up points every Premiership game. Not as good a record as I'd hoped - but 5 wins, 6 draws is a platform to build on.

agreed - Uefa really ****ed this up by just concentrating on their cash cow, the champions league. The final is at Citys ground so its worth it.

We can obviously see what’s happened to the League Cup and you would have to say the FA Cup is not what it used to be (or teams no longer treat it like they used to). In fact I think I would have to say that Platini might have a point in saying countries national cup winners should go into the CL and possibly go even further and say the League Cup winners should also go into it leaving just 1st and 2nd from the league.
Perhaps this would make teams treat all competitions as seriously as each other.

It still does. I don't judge a competition's importance on the revenue that gets handed out. If so, I'd prefer the CL to the European Cup - which I don't. And I'd think the FA Cup is the "best cup competition in the world" - which I don't...in fact it bores the tits off me.Originally posted by Marsh View PostComment
