Having the more adventurous Arbeloa at right-back instead of the more ponderous and slightly pedestrian Finnan made a huge difference to us going forward. Against the weaker sides, this looks the way to go - with Finnan coming in against better opposition and AA moving to left back.
IMO, anyway.
That was ****ing great fun - the perfect antidote the recent below-par muck.

Yossi can be hit and miss but I love him, and his goal threat really exposes Pennant's lack of goal threat from the same position. He simply never gets into the positions Yossi does.
I hope he gets a good run in the side now.

Arbeloa made some great maurading runs up the right.
He certainly looked very lively going forward although he did get caught out a couple of times at the back, but as you said he can be useful bombing on from RB against lesser sides where we'll have a lot of posession.
