    2. Love to see the press creaming themselves over our performance yesterday....not. Maybe if we were Arsenal then it would be different

    3. I hate this rotation, rotation, rotation. I mean why the fcuk did he drop Finnan, Sissoko and Kuyt yesterday? Doesn't Rafa know that this rotation does not work?! :whatever:

    4. From this first whistle you could see the players wanted it yesterday. Was really good to see that they taught Besiktas a lesson too.

    5. Where the **** is Rashid today?

1 Finnan has looked a touch stale but he's still 1st choice for me but Arbeloa is pushing him close. Pity he's not left footed.

    2. We get a fair press in my view, today every paper was full of praise for Rafa

    3. In my view rotating players so often doesn't work. Changing 5 or 6 players for many games will not build up the required understanding between players. One great game doesn't alter the fact we still have it all to do both in the CL & league

    4. The players were up fpr it but so they should have been. It was a game we had to win or it was the UEFA Cup at best

In answer to Number 1. Play them both!

Finnan on the right and Arbeloa on the left. Riise has looked off the pace for a while and for me stood out as our worst player midweek which was an achievement.

By playing both we have two capable defenders and two players who can both push on down the flanks and deliver into the box. I'd also give Kewell a run on the wing as well. Kewell and Arbeloa down the left feels better than Aurelio and Riise imo.

        I'd go along with that.

Arbeloa's attacking game is so much better when he is on the right though.

            1. Finnan to play against the major attacking teams. Finnan is an excellent defender and is far more solid than the handsome waiter.

BUT against the Fulhams/Birminghams of this world, I`d like to see us go with the more attack-minded Arbeloa.
