    Team vs PSV

Time to look ahead again, and PSV are next.
    Here`s my team:

    Reina
    Finnan Carra Agger Aurelio
    Pennant Momo Zenden Gonzo
    Kuyt Bellamy

And here Is the reasons behind it:
-Hyppia are being saved as he need a break.
-Aurelio is the only option on LB (If Warnock are fit he plays)
-Pennant on the right as Gerrard are rested, but on the bench.
-Momo is boss and aloows Zenden to play further up the field, his best position.
-Gonzo on left as he probably offers a little more support to Aurelio than Garcia does.
-The two strikers are given after Saturday.

PSV away, hard game, we need the win.

    My team:

    Reina
    Finnan - Hyypia - Agger - Aurelio
    Pennant - Gerrard - Sissoko - Gonzalez
    Kuyt - Bellamy

    Reasons:

    Carragher isn't fit
We don't have another fit LB.
We need pace on the wings.
Give Alonso a rest and play Sissoko and Gerrard through the centre.

    My prediction for Rafa's team....

    Reina
    Finnan - Carragher - Agger - Aurelio
    Gerrard - Zenden - Sissoko - Garcia
    Kuyt - Bellamy.

That's the team i want to see tomorrow.
Strong attacking team with lots of width plus Gerrard back where he should be.
Will he pick it who knows, Rafa always surprises me.

Carragher isn't fit - I do agree that Kuyt and Bellamy should start though....but I reckon Rafa might play Kuyt with Garcia behind him....

My opinion is that it depends how fit Carra is.

If he's fine then I'd play this (otherwise it's Agger in for him with Hyypia coming back in):

          Reina
          Finnan-Carra-Agger-Aurelio
          Pennant-Gerrard-Sissoko-Gonzalez
          Bellamy-Kuyt

Subs: Dudek, Hyypia, Warnock, Alonso, Zenden, Crouch, Fowler.

Id love to see Bellamy and Kuyt up front.
Thought they looked awsome at anfield
Its nice to be important, but more important to be nice

I`ve heard anybody say he could play LB. That could just be because nobody has tried to play him there, but it`s a big gamble to take.

My team for PSV on Tuesday:
                  Goalkeeper: Jerzy Dudek

                  Leftback: Fabio Aurelio
                  Defender: Daniel Agger
                  Defender: Jamie Carragher
                  Rightback: Stephen Finnan

                  Left winger: Mark Gonzalez
                  Defensive mid: Momo Sissoko
                  Attacking mid: Steven Gerrard
                  Right winger: Jermaine Pennant

                  Striker: Peter Crouch
                  Striker: Dirk Kuyt

Reasons why I'd choose this team:
                  - Jerzy Dudek, because Pepe Reina needs to recharge his batteries
                  - Fabio Aurelio, because Riise's injured
                  - Daniel Agger, because Hyypiä needs to be rested
                  - Jamie Carragher, because Paletta isn't ready for first team yet, IMO (and Carra would also need some rest, especially after that injury against Sheffield United)
                  - Mark Gonzalez, because we HAVE wingers and we NEED to play them!
                  - Momo Sissoko... Do I need to explain?!
                  - Steven Gerrard, because Xabi's ****e at the moment and I wouldn't play Zenden
                  - Jermaine Pennant: read about Mark Gonzalez
                  - Peter Crouch, because he's in a good form
                  - Dirk Kuyt, because he knows PSV well and is a fantastic striker

                  Bench:
Pepe Reina, Craig Bellamy, Gabriel Paletta, Boudewijn Zenden, Stephen Warnock, Robbie Fowler and whoever...

                    Reina

                    Finnan
                    Hyppia
                    Agger
                    Aurelio

                    Pennant
                    Momo
                    Stevie G
                    Zenden

                    Bellers
                    Kuyt

I think we could be a little lightweight in the midfield starting with 2 wingers away from home. Rafa is cautious and with Aurelio a liitle bit of a liability at LB he might use Zenden in LM. I would use crouchas an impact sub bringing him speedy and Garcia on in the 2nd half!!

Yes I believe he has played LB Before. He's even played as a Striker

I would like to see this team tomorrow

                        ..........................Reina
                        .............Finnan/Carragher/Agger
                        Pennant..............Sissoko.............Aurelio
                        ..................Gerrard/Gonzalez
                        .....................Kuijt/Bellamy

Subs: Dudek, Hyypia, Paletta, Alonso, Zenden, Garcia, Crouch.

Although Carra is not fit, I think he'll recover a lot quicker from Saturday's game than Sami.

Saturday proved a few things for me

                        1) We lacked pace in Attack and Defence. With Sami and Carra as CB, Rafa's strategy of defending high up is very dangerous because of lack of pace.
                        2) Crouch and Kuijt is not very effective when they dont receive decent crosses. Pennant and/or Gonzalez is needed for pace and crosses.
                        3) Alonso is showing very poor form at present. I watched him on Saturday and for Spain against NI. His passing is very erratic
                        4) Fowler's lack of pace is too easy to counter. I'd bring him on as a sub, but wouldn't start with him too often.
                        5) Gerrard is not very effective playing from the Right. He was very unlucky hitting the post a couple of times, but as a provider he does very little from the Right side.
                        6) Aurelio is not the answer at LB at present. Maybe if he adjusts to Rafa's defensive pattern, he'll improve. But at the moment him combining with Sami is a disaster. The same goes for Warnock and Sami. Sami doesnt have the pace to cover for a LB that is out of position.

It's always a bitter pill to lose against Everton, but It's better to learn these lessons now. The team will learn from Saturday and I'm sure it will improve us in the long Run.

After beating PSV and Chelski we'll all feel a lot better next week Monday

                          Sammi
                          Carra

                          Bellamy
                          Kuyt

LEft Xabi out cos his is in the worst form i have ever seen, Carra and Hyypia will improve and need games to get back to their best.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I think there is a better chance of Carra playing all three games this week than Sami. We need Sami on Sunday to counter the Aerial threat of Drogba. We all saw what happened last year when Sami was ill against Chelski

My Team for Sunday will be

                            Reina
                            Finnan/Carragher/Hyypia/Agger

Subs: Dudek, Aurelio, Alonso, Garcia, Kuijt

Crouch is a must, Terry and Carvalho cant handle him. They proved that in the Shield
