i say keep things simple and stick with a 4-4-2:

    ---------------Reina-------------

    Finnan--Carragher--Agger--Aurelio

    Pennant--Gerrard--Sissoko--Gonzalez

    ----------Bellamy--Kuyt----------

I would want Momo to play the holding role and although he is immense when running box to box winning the ball all over the field i feel that he should cover Stevie which will allow him to make those driving runs and late dashes into the box for knock downs or a header.

Our defense has looked shaky in the past few games and the best form of defence is attack so thats why i have picked a good attacking lineup with lots of pace in attack which will cause lots of problems and with Agger and Aurelio we have to defenders who can pick a pass and bring the ball out instead of just hoofing it.

Although i wouldn't be suprised to see Zenden start on the left

      I'd have to say -

      -------------------Reina----------------------
      ----Finnan----Carra----Agger-----Warnock----

      ----Pennant---Sissoko---Alonso---Gonzalez----

      ------------------------Kuyt------------------
      -------------Bellamy--------------------------

It's atough one really beacuse there's so many variables and reasons why for and why not but my reasons are:

Reina - Think he has to stay in goal to get his confidence up but should he make another mistake, i'd seriously consider dropping him for Dudek

Finnan - Only fit RB and playing well nuff said

Agger - Should definately play, was left out v everton and don't expect him to start v the Chavs so this is a good opportunity to get him some first team experience

Carra - Tough decision between him and Hyypia, but providing Rafa thinks he's fit then he needs another game to settle him in before Chelsea. Also Hyypia has played a gaood few games now and will need a rest.

Warnock - Has to come in for Aurelio!!! It will give him a game to settle in before Chelsea, and he knows Rafa's systems well, whereas Aurelio doesn't and seems to have some positional problems. I think will stabilise us at the back till JAR comes back.

Pennant - Rested for the most part v Everton when I think he should have played, think he will offer some good crosses and seems to link well with Finnan.

Sissoko - The mans virtually undropable, and should play practically every game, this one is no exception.

Alonso - Rafa will probably go with Zenden, and Alonso's form has been woeful so far, but i feel he neds a good performance to get back on track and he can't do that if he's not playing. If Gerrard is left out Alonso should step up and lead from the middle.

Gonzalez - Not really seen much of him so far and his only competition at the moment is Aurelio, so i see no reason why we can't play him. If Zenden does play, I'd rather it was here than in the middle though.

Kuyt - Late-ish sub against the bitters and should know the PSV quite well, is used to the Dutch style and I fully expect him to play.

Bellamy - Should be perfect for this game, will be raring to go, and will work well drifting out wide with our wingers.

      Bench

      Dudek
      Garcia
      Gerrard
      Hyypia
      Zenden
      Crouch
      Aurelio
      Thomas Hicks Senior

I've honestly given up on predicting Rafa's lineup...

        It's almost impossible...

I'm really looking forward to seeing Kuyt and Bellamy as a strike partnership as I think it offers us the most out of the four strikers we have.

With these two we have pace, movement, good holding up of the ball, and goals, which is all we really require from a front two. Kuyt is great at receiving the ball with his back to goal with the movement that goes with it afterwards, and Bellamy and his pace and the way he plays the channels should link up perfectly, given time.

With Crouch and Fowler as options off the bench I feel this is the way to go in most games from now on. All four will obviously get their games this season but these two are the ones I see us getting the best out of as a partnership from now on.

Hopefully the goals will start from tonight!

Im looking forward to seeing Bellamy and Kuyt play together more than any other strike pairing. Fingers crossed theypull it off.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

It would be a big shock if Zenden didn't start tonight.

We might even get a good game out of him - going back to his old haunting ground...

I hope Rafa does start with Bellamy and Diggler but I have a sneaking suspicion he might start with just 1 up top namely Diggler.
I think Kuyt will be perfect for this game he knows the Dutch league so well and is used to finding space in that league. He has to play in my opinion.

As for the rest of the team, could this We might go for 3-5-2 with wingbacks in which case Aurelio would be left wingback. If we play 4-4-2 then I'm tempted to call for Warnock to come back in.

                    3-5-2

                    Pepe
                    Carra, Agger, Sami,
                    Finnan, Sissoko, Gerrard, Alonso, Aurelio
                    Kuyt, Bellamy

                    4-4-2
                    Pepe
                    Finnan, Sami, Agger, Warnock
                    Gerrard, Alonso, Momo, Aurelio
                    Kuyt, Bellamy.
rnm is funny, funny like funny haha.

                    Goals 2006/7 (CS, PL, CL)

                    2: Gonzalez, Kuyt, Riise
                    5: Crouch

Well The Times reckon it'll be like this!?! WTF.

I personally reckon we'll see Aurelio instead of Gonzalez. But you're just about there. I reckon Kuyt will defo start as will Bellamy with Crouch to come off the bench and mix it up a bit.
