I was sat next to a brummie at the match today. He has a mate who's a Villa fan and was at a club dinner last week. The word there was that Riise, Scott Carson and Gareth Barry will be swapping clubs in January. The word is that Barry has put his house up for sale in preperation for the move.

Can play up and down the left, and if we need him to, which i doubt, he can play in the middle as well.

Somehow don't think it'll happen though.

We could do a lot worse. He's comfortable at LB, LM and CM. Better defender than Riise and is a bloody hard worker. Seems like the perfect Rafa player.

I find it hard to believe that MON would let him go though, he is the heart and soul of that AV team.
