Thats sick, I can't believe that neighboring scousers can be so twisted over football when you consider that they have grown up with them and the only real difference is the football team they support. I bet the person who made that flag has relations and mates who are reds supporters.

I really don't understand what the bitters hope to achieve with a banner like that, no idea what it accomplishes.

Do you know what though, although I loathe Everton, I really do feel sorry for the some of the older Everton fans who would be sickened by the young scally scum bags tarnishing their name.

Perusing Bluekipper *spit* most of the reactions to the banner from the ****es was 50-50.

Which surprized me. Though god knows why it did. They seem to get worse every year that goes by.

Still think what happened in Istanbul, and the following season has pushed it to a new level. We were on the decline, they were on a revival of sorts - and by revival I mean finishing above us, not winning anything - and then everything went back to normal.

Also just about every banner I saw on that thread is in refence to us in some way. Just obsessed. I reckon a fair few of them define themselves through their hatred of us rather than support for their own club.

Thats overstepping the mark. Ypu'd expect us to hate each other in a footballing sense, but thats pure ****e. So, what to do? I'm thinking of contacting Everton FC about it, them being over there to watch a mach and stuff(??), but nothing will happen, perhaps a comdenation? then again will it only serve to puplicise it?? opinions please.
