well he did when we beat Everton. If it's not rotation then it's what happens to SG and where he is played/if he is subbed/picks his nose.Originally posted by DJS View PostIf Rafa wins us games, he doesnt generally get stick.

fair point, once we win the league I'm sure Rafa will be afforded some of the same allowances Fergie and Wenger are afforded.

It's a results business, simple as that - you can make 11 changes for every game and if you win nobody will give 2 fcuks and in fairness when we win it rarely gets a mention.
Fergie said yesterday that his squad is so good now that he doesn't even know what his strongest 11 is but it was glossed over because he has proven himself as a league winner several times over - if Rafa had come out and admitted that there would have been pages and pages written about it
There was a stat floating about which indicated that Rafa made more or less the same amount of changes over the past 3 years as Fergie, Maureen & Arsene, why Rafa has the reputation for it is the others have brought in players of similar quality and got the results whereas we have brought in sub-standard players and not got the resultsAt a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly

that's why rotation is not an issue...

:whatever:
does his best 11 include carrick or hargraves?
does his best 11 include scholes or anderson?
- "has a prefered strike partnership"
so does rafa its just kuyt isn't any good LOL!
- "has a prefered cd partnership"
so does rafa but agger injuried
- "plays his best players when they're available"
so does rafa more often then not when fit and available, pepe/finann/arbeloa/agger/carra/gerrard/alonso/masherano so that leaves the wide positions and the striking positions, who are our best wide players?
as for the striking positions our best is torres and he has been careful with him the funny thing is when he took a chance on him v arsenal he broke down so wouldn't you say his caution was justified?
that's why rotation is not an issue...
if agger/arbeloa/alonso/torres were fit all season without a shadow of a doubt you would have seen less rotation

I think it's more simply that he knows how and when to 'rotate' and still win the title.Originally posted by fred_plasticine View Postthe thing about fergie is that he might rotate heavily but he

for the papers and their so called pundits the points above are the foundation to win the league - fergie sticks to them, rafa doesn't. if you repeat that countless times all that will be remember is the statement itself. true or false is not an issue hereOriginally posted by spider-neil View Post- "knows his best 11"
