Souness is a ****ing legend and still a Liverpool man through and through.
I don't think he gets the love he deserves from the Liverpool fans. Not compared to the likes of Thompson and Hansen who are also involved with the media.
"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Thompson and Hansen are not yet inducted into the hall of Fame.

Most Rational fans know the difference between Souness the Player and Souness the Manager.

Souness is quite possibly Liverpool's best ever player. Kenny included. the man was an abolsute monster and a winner. Deserves a lot more credit than he gets from some people. A legend in the truest sense of the word.

Haha, Beardsley was a great player, but he's not much of a singer.

No mate I've been debating with people for over 20 years whether Souness was our best ever. Only those who saw Liddle & Stubbins as well may be able to argue.

The thing that makes me laugh is that some think SG is better

SG is good...but he's no Souness. But he is the closest we've had (in terms of being the complete central MF player), despite him being a very different type of player. Stevie doesn't yet know how to grab a game by the balls like Souness (and actually Keane) - and I actually think that's down to personality not ability - which you can't teach / coach.

                              ****ing hell

Did no-one else notice this? This was in the days when you were allowed to be "tackled" and Souness was one of the main protagonists.

That's nearly 60 games a season every season

Puts the current crop of pussies to shame.

                              Souness

There's that, but Souness knew his football inside out, his game intelligence was WOW! I met him once and it was obvious that he was not your normal thick footballer. The closest we've had since he left would be Xabi AND SG
