How much do you love your season ticket?

Assuming it is possible to purchase the rights to a season ticket, in a legitimate manner, through a transfer of ownership……

Who wants to sell? All you have to do is name your price……

And if you don’t own one, how much would you sell for if you did?

    £1000? £2500?....£5000!!!

    Just curious

Wish I had a season ticket , since I live around 5000miles away it'd be a bit wasted though.

Iv not got a season ticket - i would love to have one though, even though i live 100 miles away in Leeds.

I would never pay over the odds for a season ticket as it would go against my principles. £600 would probably be my limit.

Im just waiting until the new stadium is built - im sure there will be a lot of season tickets available then. Im going to try to get 2 next to each other.

        Good Luck
On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

I put my name and the missus's name down on the waiting list in the summer, i expect at least 7 years of waiting.

It's definately going to cost more than £600 each as well

I joined the que for the season tickets back in Summer 2001. Not heard a word since so I guess I'm still probably 53,605th in the que. And i doubt I'll get one with the new stadium.

I think the problem is nobody ever gives up their ticket anymore - if they don't want it, there's always somebody in their immediate family who will take it over. I've been on the list since 1999 - not heard a peep...

If your application was succesful and you recieved the 2 tickets you applied for, would you then be able to take a mate instead of your Missus. Are the stewards OK with this?

And if it gets any higher then you may get a taker from me as my only option would be a ticket share.

I've already had to stop going to cup games. I did used to sacrifice other things for them but after the Athens debacle where such loyalty was deemed laughable, I've not bothered.

Besides I can go to music nights in this city for three or four quid that are on average much more entertaining than the average football match, which charges 36 quid - so in my book the football industry has to justify its prices.

And the wages of the players. I don't really know why players can command such high wages. I don't go the game to watch the players. I go to watch Liverpool. Which makes it harder to understand how individual players can comand six figure weekly wages.

If Stevie G had gone to Chelsea I wouldn't have followed him there. I'd have watched Liverpool still. I watch whatever they put in a red shirt, for good or bad.

Its hard to fathom how the star system works wage wise in football in the same way as in other branches of the entertainment industry, when in reality the stars are not who we follow, but the shirt.

I watched the shirt when Paul Stewart was in it and I watch the shirt now Stevie G is in it.

My view of football is that in terms of entertainment value its worth between 9 and 15 quid a game, and that 15 is pushing it.

Lets be honest, if a band produced as many dud gigs as football matches produce mediocre games, everyone would **** them off. Yet here we all are paying 650 quid for 19 games, 36 quid a game for cup matches, and there's a 14 year waiting list for others who want to do the same.

They don't half have us by the bollocks don't they.

I joined the list in 1996 and was offered one in the summer of 2000. By then I'd moved to London for work and though I could have found the money for the season ticket I wouldn't have been able to afford the travelling costs.

agree with you totally. since I've moved to London money is VERY tight, so I haven't been to a game this year, its hard to justify using a 'spare £40' to watch a game that more often than not doesn't provide entertainment but immense frustration. £40 can get me and the missus a nice meal, two weeks groceries or tickets to a gig and some booze.

But then you weight up footie costs with average price for decent seats in the West End and you're football is great value!!
