Thanjk you.

I know you had a mare of game yesterday but keep your chin up lad.
You have the ability to be a very good goalkeeper whether its with Liverpool or another club. Dont let one game ruin the rest of your career.
Show your support for Scotty Carson
I'm more worried about one game ruining the transfer fee at the moment.
Last night highlighted just how much safer I feel with Pepe in goal than Carson. No authority in the box, looked flappy. That being said, nice one Scott!
He should never of been put in that position, what the **** was Mclaren thinking!?! A massive game in terrible conditions on a frankly piss poor playing surface, with a cobbled together defense in front of him! An obvious recipe for disaster and the worst thing is it's games like that that can make or break 'keepers, his confidence may well be shattered now!

It was one of a series of bad decisions by McClaren.
Not opting for experience was the main one - Beckham should have played.
The midfield was badly composed.
Wayne Bridge?! He hardly plays in his team.
His mistake is typical of Carson - lack of concentration - He's never going to push Pepe - 10M would be robbery and I will be in complete disbelief if we get that for him. Yes he's a decent keeper, but what are you comparing him with? Robinson?

Agree.
David James was the one he should have picked.

Respect to him for coming out in the second half and pulling himself together. Hopefully it is a sign he has the mental toughness to make it.
He needs to work on his concentration and maybe this is the spur he needs to kick on and become a really top keeper.
I wasn’t convinced even in the 2nd half.
I thought he should’ve been quicker off his line and more decisive with that challenge with the Croat and Lescott. Reina would have completely cleaned that out.
He should’ve saved the 3rd IMO and his kicking was piss poor – he kicked a couple straight into touch.
He’s got LOADS to work on if he’s ever to become a top keeper, in my opinion. Fine when he has to make instinctive saves, but if he has to think about anything for more than half a second, he’s ****ed.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I don't think it was an error of concentration in the same way James can still suffer from.
He was just very nervous - first competitive international at Wembley in a make-or-break game. Whoever threw him into it must have been a right idiot who was ready to gamble with a kid's career for the sake of his own.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I did post yesterday that it could be bad news for us in terms of selling him on, because he's never going to match Pepe in terms of ability or composure. A bad game for him to come into all round really.

Totally agree.
