I think myself that Rafa is using the press to get the money he need for Mascherano, probably Garay and other signing(s). He know that he can walk out and look like the hero if he isn't backed.

More or less exactly the same situation as last summer. First Rafa get linked with a job(Bayern) and then Rafa acts in a strange way followed by a statement by G&H.

All the pressure is on G&H, not Rafa.

it looks to me like he's saying that he's not being allowed to fulfill the other functions that he sees as vital (eg buying players etc) and so is "going to concentrate on training and coaching my team."
