its all a big blag between Rafa and the Americans to keep the costs down for players......if it appeared that we were minted prices would rocket. If the clubs in turmoil we can pretend to be having financial issues !!

dont believe that for one minute, but we can wish

The Scum bags moved with the times during the advent of the Premiership, our board were stuck in historical times, this lack of movement at that time is still causing us problems today.
Exactly. I said something similar in another thread. Man U, Arse, and Chelsea-though they are a special case are miles ahead of us financially. We dont have the firepower and even when the stadium is built it will take a while to catch up. The only thing we can do in the meantime is to win things but unless we have the quality that will be hard. Hard decision should have been made 10+ years ago.

Does Rafa need to spit the dummy when things dont go his way all the time. He seems to hav alot of power at LFC. Whats Parry doing in all of this? If Foster G has pissed off back to America whats Parry up to?

Its becoming more obvious that these Yanks had and have a poor understanding of running an EPL club. What could be the motivation? The club will no make them money unless they invest heavily. After the initial euphoria it just seems like one thing after another with these 2 guys.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Cut them all some slack and stop fighting fire after fire
            Nicey…..Nicey Nicey Nicey.

Okay, so you think “nothing has gone on”. That’s all well and good, but how do you explain Rafa’s thoroughly pissed off press conference yesterday? How do you explain Tom & George’s hastily-released statement that followed Rafa’s bizarre PC appearance?

As for the comment about England….FFS man, come off it.

I like the fact that this is one conspiracy Nicey doesn't believe in, although I would rather he didn't make our manager sound like a renegade spice girl.

The trouble is that at the minute we have to work on supposition and rumour which is being fanned by the media as they want a story.

They've won the league, bigger stars than Dallas, they've got more silver than Buckhingham Palace, no one knows quite what to expect, when the Red Machine's in full effect!

It was Chris Bascombe who mentioned Forlan. Forlan was a name on the list of possible targets. This was the list that was brought into play after the owners admitted we'd not actually be able to afford Eto'o and co after all. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liver...name_page.html

He mentions a fee for Forlan there of £16m-£18m. Torres cost us £18m.

He also says "Unless the club’s American owners are more specific on what Benitez can afford, he’ll continue to monitor his alternative list of strike targets."

Now it was after that, unless I'm mistaken, that Count Morfeo posted his angry thread about us getting no money. A few posts further down he clarified that he mean no extra money. Rafa's alternative list was based on what he could afford if he spent the dosh we already had. If the owners had put some more money in he'd have moved onto the list we all hoped he was going to buy from.
                      Pre****ingcisely. Nice post mate

If he does get the England job at least we wont have to listen to him whining about a transfer budget

Rafa must be the manager for the future.
