I want a winning Liverpool FC - that is all I care about. If we have to stay at Anfield a while longer, than so be it.
Do you realise the plans to build a new stadium started in 1999? 8 nearly 9 years ago and we've had little or no progress until the last 9 months.

****e team? FFS Rafa has been allowed to pay 9 million over the previous transfer record for a player and HE has bought most of these players in his ****E team. If the team is ****e what do we do, throw money at the man who assembled this ****e team?

    I'm getting pissed off now.

How can anyone back Rafa's position of publically attacking his bosses in the press? Madness
Or maybe Wenger got constant dialogue between him and the board and was quite rightly kept up to date. Or maybe Arsenal put a plan in place at the start of the season to cause any confusion.

What, in your view, is SO different about us that we can't?

Why is spending like risdale the other alternative? Why not the Arsenal alternative?
How many 23 million pound players did Wenger buy whilst they were building a new stadium?

Not too many IIRC and he led that team to an unbeaten season and the title. Still a chance Rafa could do that I suppose.

Mate, If I was one of the best coaches in the world who could get a job almost anywhere whenever I wanted and my boss doesn't even have the basic human respect to return a phone call. I'd do pretty much anything to get it to come to a head.

He should have focused on other CBs and signed one. He wasted his time and then it was too late to find another player.. Rafa completely ****ed up and he's the only one to blame.

he said he'll get players he thinks will improve the team, he was advised heinze had a good case and said he didn't see any other players at that time he thought would improve the side, no problem there so far

We need a CB in January but the other positions are well covered imo.

debateable, i think we need a striker a winger and a LB as weel as a CB

We dont need any strikers. We need Rafa to use them properly and not playing our worst one alone up front.

yes we do, it's down to opinion, but imo yes we really do need at least one

Mascher will be signed next summer but we know how complicated it is with this MSI stuff.

you have nothing to back this up with, if there are money problems £17mil is a big outlay on a player

At the end of the day, neither of us know, so it isn't fair to attack our owners for not being more like Arsenals.

Well your stock would reduce dramatically if you did it at a press conference. Who wants to employ a trouble maker?

You are missing the point. We're not saying give him 23m. We're saying if we can only afford 5m. Tell him. That's all, no-one is saying go and buy 5 torres, no-one wants to put the stadium funding at risk. But you need to tell him something so he can plan his job properly.

But you are assuming that Rafa wants to buy another 23mil player maybe just maybe all he wants is a little money to buy one player.

And IMO it's not just about players he wants to buy if you read Hicks statement it clearly states that they wont even talk about players he wants to sell until mid December.

In the business world there are alternatives that are less visible. In football there are not the same options.

If you pay peanuts you get monkeys. Pay top dollar and you get your Torres, Rooneys, Vidic, Alves etc etc.. that is my point.

Maybe it is not primarily about the amount available?

I guess what is even more frustrating than having a low budget is not knowing what you budget actually is.

Let me illustrate with a phrase from someone else on here:

Rafa wants to know if he is shopping at Harrods or Tesco...

                          This could be the case..

And you know for a fact that Arsenal's board told Wenger 6 weeks before a window opened that he'd have x million to spend?

You don't, none of us know when owners talk budgets with their managers,so I don't see how it's fair to criticise ours on that basis.

It's clear that our manager is pissing in the wind and hasn't got a clue what's going on so yes it is fair to blame our owners.
