Basically going to be a bunch of media pundits discussing all the latest news about LFC. Could be an interesting watch.

i bet you they hardly scratch the surface, the Official site, the TV channel and some reporters at the Echo are the official propaganda machines of the club.

Go back and look at what Parry said, he said we're going to continue to run the club the way we have in the past but the new stadium would go ahead.

I've lost count of the number of times he said we won't be run like a rich man's plaything.

From what I've read and understood in the Echo today, Gillett & Hicks seem to be implying that Rafa's job is to coach the team, therefore doesn't need to stick his nose into money matters ... That's contrary to the freedom associated with the british style of managing a football team, so many times praised by Rafa.

If they're doing that, they'll feel the backlash of the supporters very soon.

i'm sure that hicks and gillett must be getting some sort of football advice from someone and if they've come to the conclusion that we're ok on the player front i wouldn't be surprised because realistically we have a very good squad (aside from a cover CB).

but regardless of who is demanding what or who's not talking to who, today i'm hanging my head a little lower as a liverpool fan as our manager and owners are acting in an abysmal fashion, fighting with each other through the ****ing media ABOUT ****ING MONEY 24 hours before a big league match and a few days before a pivotal CL game.

today i'm tempted to say **** the lot of them. where's the dignity and class associated with LFC in all this? i'm serously pissed with rafa's petulance as well as h&g's overinflation of the transfer kitty they gave rafa in the summer. shut the **** up at poxy press conferences and fight it out on the boardroom. leave the people that make it possible for the club to exist - i.e the fans - to still feel that there is something unique about our club instead of squalid public bickering about who won't talk to who.

it may all be exaggerrated and blow over but we've sunk into a mire that has never been associated with lfc before either of these intersests came to us. rafa did this after athens as well and i felt it was just as unseemly then.

so rafa - shut the **** up and prepare the quality you already have

h&g - stop taking us for ****ing fools. we spent net £20m-ish over the summer.

If Rafa's in a position to set up a transfer for early completion in January, then it's ludicrous that he cannot get an answer now on whether funds will be available.

As much as I don't like our stuff being slashed in front of TV audiences, I can understand Rafa's frustration if ever this conversation with the yanks happened just before the press conference.

And if really communications was down to a few emails and that Foster Gillett had ****ed off to the states, then they're taking us for clowns.

Surely, our transfer strategy should be something to be reviewed periodically and adapted, like a medium term plan, to achieve certain objectives based on priorities set beforehand. If Rafa has identified some targets and made inroads into some, then it's perfectly legitimate he wants assurances that he can pull the trigger before our rivals do.

I agree with that majority of that.

I do remember however an interview Rafa did once where he said he would never lie to the fans.

What has Rafa actually done? Answered questions by the press with the same answer and said he may be interested in the England job. He was asked questions and he answered them. He never slagged H & G off but it was clear he wasn't happy.

It's clear to me that he is considering his options and I wouldn't be surprised if he was gone before Hicks and Gillette meet him in December. No-one is bigger than the club and if he does go then thanks for everything and good luck but what does worry me is I think our Spanish players would seek a move elsewhere should the gaffer decide he's had enough.

Disgraceful behaviour from Hicks. You don't do this sort of thing in public and in the press. The Americans obviously know **** all about the British press and football in general. How to alienate your manager and fans in one paragraph. I know who I'll be supporting now if it comes to a show of support.
