Tom Hicks: Quit talking and coach the players

What I don't get is that after our last signing this summer, Hicks got on the official and said "we're not done yet" and then he indicated that we might be after 2 more players. Heinze fell through and we didnt sign anyone else. Now the Stadium cost is spiralling and they are backtracking on transfers. The thing that is most angering about this is that Hicks obviously must think we are so stupid as not to remember what he said only 3-4 months ago.

And as an American who has seen Hick's modus operandi with his clubs over here, I am very concerned. I'm not convinced he understands his own sports, let alone football.

December 16th is going to be pivotal. The club is dysfunctional at this point. No roles are clear, transfers don't appear to be the responsibility of the manager. The manager is just a coach. There don't appear to be status meetings. It's a mess.

December 16th will be the beginning of the end.

Maybe, Rafa always says he need to improve his English!

But seriously if they are ignoring his calls how on earth can he communicate?
          We come not to play.

If Rafa thinks the FA are going to be better than Hicks and Gillette then he is in for a nasty surprise

Isnt Hicks the Stadium man and Gillett the sport man?

It seems to me that while the yanks arent skint in America, the ****e Dollar is ****ing them up and this is pissing Rafa off. I mean like, to us, Mascherano costs 17 mil. To G&H its probably something like 30-35 mil. The cost of the ground might not have risen to us but it will have to them as their money becomes worth less than it did in February. Maybe this and then Rafa moaning at them forced Hicks to snap like he has done here. I hope they can sort it out and if what I think is wrong is the case then both sides can see where the other is comeing from and sort it out. If they cant then its bye bye Rafa and whoever comes in best be a mircle worker because they arent going to get any money to spend until that ground is up and running for a few years.

Meh, the Bundesliga is too low profile for him (no disrespect to all Bundesliga fans out there)

Rafa would be a **** England manager.

They'd never give him the job anyway.

                          To out spoken.

I doubt he would take it tbh.

Rafa isn't happy that he is going to be discussing the Jan window 15days before it opens. It's ludicrous. I bet Fergie is laughing his arse off. One thing you can say about the Glazers and Fergie is that they don't slag eachother off across the Atlantic. Liverpool have shot themselves in the foot and the 'Americans' have shown themselves up to be ****e man managers and about as graceful as Pacman in a Tutu.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
