For some reason I think Elisha knows what he is talking about, at least when it comes down to the Stevie G deal.Originally posted by dww View PostOr he could be a bloody good accountant and less good at the more public/obvious duties he has to perform and on balance the money men would rather have someone of his specialist knowledge on board?
People are very quick to condemn people on here on the basis of hearsay and yet criticise the papers for publishing crap.
How the **** can anyone decide to go on a holiday when the Captain and our most important player want to sign a new deal. How long time would it take to sort that out, three, four days probably, but no, the holiday is more important.
We almost lost Gerrard because of Parry's ****ing holiday. What a joke.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

After reading that times article posted in another thread, i'm convinced Parry is no longer the man for the job. Under Moores his deficiencies we're noted but under that setup and with a lack of substantial money, he was never really a big problem. the way I see it now we've got a bigger transfer pot, and he's got to mediate between G&T and Rafa, I think he's out of his depth. I mean surely Parry could have had a few words with both parties to stop this mess happening, after all he supposedly in charge of transfers and this is what the argument was about. Seems like Parry just had to keep order for 3 weeks while foster wasn't here and ****ed up. Of course he can't shoulder the blame but I think he should maybe have been doing more.
I'd like to see us appoint a new chairman, someone who knows business, but is also an LFC fan and in tune with the needs of the fans, if such a man exists i'd hope we can find him. I wonder if the fella we appointed for international marketing, could be getting groomed for this in the future?Thomas Hicks Senior

Kinel, if Bascombe is communicating through this gob****e then he really has lost all credibility.Originally posted by Rashid View PostHe felt that many of us were having a go at him without knowing the facts and just told me what he KNEW as fact. I can assure you that Chris's sauce is the best you can possibly get.
I have no problems sharing.
1. He said the owners promised a lot of cash when they took over but this didn't materialise and Rafa was surprised - hence the post Athens rant.
2. He said the two owners don't get on which is a FACT but Rafa going public with internal matters has bought them closer together.
3. He said they are determined to sack Rafa and will do it soon, failing that at the end of the season as they simply don't like him or his antics. (this obviously isn't taking into account the fans fury).
4. He said the only thing that can save Rafa is a "change in ownership" - I don't know what he means by this, could one of the owners sell up? I don't know.
5. He said Rafa does too much himself - stuff which are not his concern, which gets Parry's back up and now the owners are pissed off with it too.
6. Mourinho is just one of the candidates.

I like to think he must be doing something right judging by the type of rabid fools who hate him (see RTK)
Can someone post a list of trophies we've won since Parry has been CEO?

Christ on a moon bike.Originally posted by peekay View PostFrom Elisha Scott on ynwa: As far sources go, he is much pretty much spot on.
Another massive mis-communication down to Parry. The fella is not competent enough to be running the club.
He commands no respect amongst the fans, imagine what people from other clubs think when they deal with him.
He has nearly cost us the manager and captain now.
ES is one of the very few net "insiders" who isn't a blowhard.
But still if he was that incompetent how and why does he still have a job? It makes no sense to me at all.I hate Polanski

Nonsense. Elisha Scott's "source" is Gerrard, who I doubt has any idea what is going on at board level.
It's all gossip and speculation, fueled by that snake, Bascombe, and, naturally, our own drama queen fans.
The way to stop it all is to win games and trophies, though there will always be a section who look for a scapegoat, be that on or off the pitch.

He lost all credibility he had remaining - which was very little - when he went to the Sunday Sun.
Still I thought he embarrassed himself spectacularly this past summer with all his scaremongering over our transfer budget and targets. He said we'd end up with Forlan or Darren Bent, then we bought Torres.
Enough said really.I hate Polanski

I mean he's got to be good at something, right? Otherwise he'd be out on his arse.
I don't believe the rumours either, but ES has a good track record, the above quote of his is very difficult to prove or dis-prove. Unless you talk to Rick Parry's tie rack itself.I hate Polanski
