Nonsense. Elisha Scott's "source" is Gerrard, who I doubt has any idea what is going on at board level.

Have to laugh at the notion that Parry somehow almost lost Gerrard. This the same Gerrard that lead us on for a whole year about his intentions, before finally deciding to stay after changing his mind twice amid a huge media soap opera.

Gerrards biography initimated that Rafa kept saying a deal would be offerred but nothing was forthcoming from Parry (despite Parry saying it would be done)
