If they make a big deal of his comments the only conclusion I could come to is that they have no idea about how good a manager he is, how to manage people and commuinicate with them or what's required. Infact it will prove that they know **** all.

If there's a public rebuke from them this time, like there was on Thursday and Friday, they can **** off.

It depends how you define his job. In fact, there seems to be no agreement on here as to exactly what his role is.

It's easy to blame Parry for this because it looks like he's in the middle (or at least he should be) but it's not necessarily like that. I'm not defending him - he may be behind this for all we know - but there's a real danger of using him as a target so we can feel good about Rafa and about the Americans' 'noble intentions'.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I agree, this is only going to make matters worse.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Either this is all the cleverest piece of smokescreening LFC havr ever done (it's not), or there is a bizarre lack of communication between Rafa and the Americans.

I can't get my head around why there is a lack of communication between the 2 parties. How can it happen??

Rafa's using the same tactic he used in the summer and this time, after spending big money on Torres and Babel, the Americans feel strong enough to resist him.

I don't think it's a breakdown in communication - ultimately Rafa and the Americans have different interests.

Did you see the interview? It wasn't that bad just honest. If Hicks can't take constructive criticism on board, criticism not even nearly as bad as what he gave to Rafa yesterday, then he has no place as chairman of our club.

                Anelka 1-0 against the filth!

Watched the comments, Rafa seemed a lot happier and chilled which could be becuase we won and the fans were singing his name so he felt he was in a stronger situation or they have already had a quick chat and a bit of understanding has been reached.
I am not as worried as I was on Thursday but I do wonder how Hicks will respond to the comments. I hope he realises that Rafa is trying to do the best for LFC and Hicks.

sounds like Rafa has a fair point, transfers can be protracted (look how long it took us to get Mascher on loan!) guess he has identifed some targets, wantsto get it al sorted and have the lads brought over to us asap so they can settle in quick as possible.

I like how he was smiling when Shreeves asked him about England. What did Shreeves expect him to say? 'Yes, I am interested, for sure. I want to coach Chelsea players and who wouldn't, no' ****ing hell

Rafa spoke sense. Parry is meant to be the link man between these two and he seems to be awfully quiet. Sack Parry

He says that getting players in is hard and the owners need to realise this but as they're new to it all they haven't grasped the way things work yet.

He says he'll keep focused on the matches but he's only trying to get new players because it's the best for the club.
Saw it too. Wasnt sure if he should've said that publicly, but it was fairly diplomatic and highlights the issues clearly.

I felt very sorry for him watching that interview and bless him, i hope his words get through. Rafa
