It seems more and more the case that winning at home is proving harder, not just for us, but for several of the top sides.
Lesser teams go to places like Anfield and Emirates, sit deep, keep it tight and stop the home side from playing. We certainly know how difficult it's been to win at home and Arsenal have left it very very late on a few occasions already this season.
Away from home it's been easier, with the home onus leaving sides playing a higher line and allowing more space and that's a big reason why we've been so good away from home.
We'll always control most of the games, we'll always have plenty of the ball and will create chances, but away from home, we create more because teams allow us to push onto them more higher up the park.
It just shows you how important it is to take your chances, especially in the home games where, bizarrely, you might find yourselves getting less good chances than you do on your travels.
Was it always like this? I dont remember it being so much easier away from home than at home.
We must get our home form sorted now, the race is more open and we're in amongst it. Two wins in the next two games are crucial, Bolton at home and Reading away. Six points would put us in a healthy position going into the mancs game.
