    No I don't think it was a good performance. If you think it was a very good performance then I am starting to think I might have been watching a different game. We spent the whole game conceding possesion and hoping to catch them on the break and it the second half we played so deep Reina was alomost playing centre half. The result is a good one but the 3 pts were there for the taking and I just hope we don't have to travel to Turkey on the last game looking for a result.

      Not counting the qualifiers, that's now 5 consecutive Champions League games in which we've failed to score.

      Unfortunately, despite their impressive movement and workrate, the strikers last night became increasingly isolated. Aurelio barely got over the half-way line in the second half and there was no support from Zenden or Sissoko. I can't recall a single occasion in the second half when we created a chance inside their penalty box (other than Gerrard getting down the right late on and driving it in, but the keeper collected well).
      Screaming from beneath the waves...
