I wonder if DIC are still interested?

The only thing that could save them is if they back a new manager big time in the transfer market and win the league or the CL.
No AF. If they sack Rafa, they sack Rafa. Full stop. And then we all move on. Did the Glazer leave when asked? I don't think so. There is no chance in hell that what you described above will ever be a realistic scenario.

    And **** DIC.

No one will be backed bigtime by G&H until they think the business is ready for it. That means the new stadium in place and that the business as a whole can sustain and handle a fair return of investment.

Just what I think. Carry on

That's the trouble with polls like this. It encourages monochromatic vision.

There are two extreme options and two more balanced views. As it happens I voted for the second option on the list.

Of course, it would be more exciting for the mass debate if I was either all 'doom and gloom' or 'isn't everything rosy' but what's the point in going overboard about something you don't know much about, can't control and ultimately doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things?

I take it back - it's not a problem with polls like this, it's a problem with the LFC forum in general.

      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Like I said, adversity always brings LFC supporters together. Even fans who have been critical of Rafa this season will unite in full support of him against a f**king outsider like Hicks. He may 'own' the club but it's us, the fans which the club belongs to. His last statement telling Rafa to shut up was the last straw for me....unless he apologises to Rafa and all the fans he can f**k right off back to Texas where he came from.

Tuesday night will be a cauldron of support for Rafa and the players. I feel sorry for Porto because we are going to rip them a new one.

Do you think G&H would be prepared to sell the club?

I think they would prepared to sell it as long as they make a profit on it but who would be prepared to buy it?

DIC, a mega rich russian or Kraft could be options.

They are in a very difficult situation right now with the new stadium to pay for and they are not mega rich.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

              eh?

I was just thinking the same thing AF, maybe theres a white night coming from the middle east? Doubt it, but I reckon there would be many buyers for LFC all the same

AFII do you actually think before you post? They had legal cost among other things, they will not be able to make a profit yet.

THIS IS A STUPID TOPIC AND SHOULD BE CLOSED.

I agree it's a bit of a daft question but if you could tone your replies down a touch that would be good.

He just seems to be making stuff up an posting his thoughts as facts today and it getting stupid. People need to stop and think about the situation, Rafa even said yesterday that it wasn't that bad.

                        The right offer?

Well duh? Of course they would, if someone offered them double their money I reckon they'd take it, they're businessmen, not idiots.

That I do know fella, I really really do. Hyperbole and reactionism everywhere, and its pretty hard not to become frustrated with it all (try being the one having to sit here hitting "merge" every 10 minutes), but remaining calm and trying to counter it with reasoned logic would be a preferable route to be taking
