Is sacking him a just sanction for that outburst?
If that is what the owners are considering...
If I acted like that infront of the world media making him look a cunt, would he sack me.
What do you think he said?"What's your favourite Beatles album then?"

but he's surely done his homework. he deliberately opened that can of worms. i do not for a second believe that his emotions got the better of him during the press conference. he's trying to call their bluff and might end up paying the price for it .Originally posted by kopdan View Postobviously he was
but...
was he acting professionally when he did the press conference?

Shanks was as outspoken if not more outspoken than Rafa. Football is about passion and winning titles. Generating money should be the responsibility of the suits in order to back the team ... Not for their pockets. Yes, they should have a fair bit of ROI. But Gillett even said that he wasn't into football to make money.

Not saying he has made negative comments about LFC, he has about the owners though and there was the press confrence on Thursday that was a bit of a joke.
As I say I'd love to see them try
I think there chances of proving that are slim to say the least

though you could agrue that hicks started by publicly making all kind of promises he's not willing to hold.
Whats to say Hicks isnt planning to give Rafa £30m for January? Just because they havent talked about it doesnt mean he isnt planning to.
I honestly think its a case of Hicks and Gillette not really getting the whole coach, manager thing in football."What's your favourite Beatles album then?"
