We are not the "old" style LFC anymore. The Liverpool way died when G&H bought the club.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

"Pepe, can you tell us how much support there is for the manager in the dressing room?"
You can guess his answer.
Nothing really to report....although I did get the impression Reina seemed slightly....bewildered by it all? Maybe it's just me but he seemed resigned to something.

I only look at what usually happen when a new manager takes over a club in the next transfer windows.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostNo, you're not.
If you honestly, and I mean really, believe that there will be a mass exodus of players in the summer then you need your head testing.
If Rafa goes I'd be surprised if any of our players left before giving whoever the new guy is in charge a realistic chance to show them how he would take them forward.
You just, as you do wiuth incoming polayers, are merely reading the press reports about players leaving etc.. and believing every word and posting continuously about it.
The new manager will bring in his players and build his team. Some players are playing for us because Rafa is the manager and not because we are Liverpool FC.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

I admit I don't know some of those players but very few black playersOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostA Blackburn ST holder of many years SWEARS to me that this is true. Never been arsed to check the facts and see if they signed any black players at the time though.
Of course, someone could've noticed that and started a scurrillous rumour...who knows.

I wouldn't expect a mass exodus if Rafa left. Mascher will definitely be gone, of that there is no doubt. Beyond that it is hard to be sure. But there will be inevitable speculation surrounding the likes of Alonso and Reina, ie players who had previously been strongly linked with moves back their homelands in the past.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostNo, you're not.

This whole saga has told me that AFII is never happy and looks for the negative in every situation, it is like he loves all this ****. AFII gets to post loads and repeat the papers like they are facts and Rashid goes off on one.Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostOff your best mate Moores.

Why did we let them buy the club?? I thought they bought it on the understanding that Parry stayed, and that they upheld the traditions of LFC. I wish this Hicks guy would just **** off...gillette seems like a genuine guy but hicks can **** off, bulldogfacedyank****
anyway, I still don't think they will sack RafaSack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

it was reported at the time by a certain hypocritical newspaper - they called them Whiteburn and started a campaign - there weren't any at that time.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostA Blackburn ST holder of many years SWEARS to me that this is true. Martin Dahlin, followed by Nathan Blake.Originally posted by kopash View PostI admit I don't know some of those players but very few black players

Cheers for that.
Although those two were late in Walker's tenure, and my mate reckons the issue was a Walker/Kenny thing - Dalglish wanted to sign someone, a black player, and Walker ALLEGEDLY wouldn't allow it.
Maybe he mellowed as he got older.
