    Very interesting.
Not loans against the club my mistake.[/QUOTE]

They would not be able to get an unsecured loan of that size. Also the tax advantages of the loan against the club is benefitial, you really shouldn't talk about things you don't understand.

Have they made loans against the club? I'd be interested in your evidence

Also, what's the net total spend so far this year?

I also expected our new owner to let Rafa do his job in selling and buying players.

I also expected them to pay for the new stadium, not with loans but with a long term strategy to get the money back from success on the pitch and selling the name of our new stadium.

Nothing more or less than that.
If you ask me we spent at a very decent level considering the level of debt being wiped out and the stadium being funded. I think that £30m-£40m nett a year is a fantasy to be honest. It may be possible some years when the stadium is finished but even the likes of United rarely spend that and they get millions more than us in gate reciepts already.

I don't see why people are so unwilling to accept loans. Thats how big business works.

Your expectations are too much, they are a fantasy IMO. To be fair it was a fantasy G&H fuelled but that was always a mistake on their part.

The only place I think you may have a point is with giving Rafa the freedom to do his job, or at least putting in place a communication system that allows him to do deals with an intermediary he trusts (essentially a Dein to his Wenger) and that the owners trust too.

I know AFII sprouts some bollocks, but I see no point in venting your frustrations on him.

I'm not mate it is just he is adding bits to stories, treating everything he reads as fact and going on about it. It would be great if we all calmed down. The bit about who he wants to own the club is just funny.
Also I am not angry, I would just love people to chill and wait to see instead of us all working each other up, this is all that happens.

I have no problem with the stadium being funded through loans it was fairly obviously they would get a loan for this secured against the clubs assets / income and naming rights

The thing I do object to is them heaping their personal loans from the takeover onto the club (if they do go down this route which appears likely)

They did afterall promise that the finance of this purchase wouldnt be like the Glazer deal didnt they?
