I hope he has backed down. I understand Rafa wants to control everything but the owners do have a right to structure the club how they see fit. Rafa needs to realise he either works with them or moves on.

I absolutely love Rafa and if this means he is staying long term I will be very, very happy but I must add the only thing I do not like about him is his wont for using the press to push his station. Hicks and Gillett let him get away with his ridiculous rant after the CL final, but they are not stupid and have forced Rafa to back down.

Hopefully all parties sit down and sort out their individual responsibilities and most importantly the communication lines.

if rafa goes, I doubt very much that stevie and carra are "to blame" i;d suggest that it is rafa's rotation, the recent bad run of home results, the outbursts regarding transfers and most importantly the focusing on coaching press conference as key factors
