If you could go back in time and choose again...

.. would you have chosen Hicks/Gillett over DIC?

    Simple question really.

Even knowing full well DIC would probably sell the club on in 7 years I would have gone with them.

Neither - Moores should have kept control.

I didn't like the way DIC threw the toys out of the pram and made demands, that coupled with the 7 yr plan is too big a problem for me. They most prob would have not redisigned the stadium and also who is to say how much they would have spent. Better the devil you know as the grass is not always greener.

They have got a **** load of money and they wanted to invest in Liverpool FC. What else do you need to know? What did you about Hicks and Gillett 24 hours before they owned the club - sweet FA.

Aye, but now you;re asking us for an opinion about whether or not someone we know **** all about should have bought the club

They had a 7 yr business plan so they were never going to throw cash at the club.

This place and all fans have gone insane. I can't believe what I am reading, some people are never happy. We don't deserve a brand spanking new stadium and a transfer budget that has yet to be taken away. Protest against them and watch everyone cry when they walk away and we are screwed. Who would I choose? There is no choice. DIC would have sold us down the river, Moores couldn't carry on and the other parties were either non-existant or were not suitable.

Be careful what you wish for, lest it come true.

well, yes, because i know people who were involved in the due dilligence process of the takeover.

but i'm sure you know alot more

If I'd have known it was my choice at the time I would certainly have been a lot more proactive

G&H don't throw cash at the club either, so no difference there.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Precisely the reason they would have invested heavily in the playing squad.
