He also tried to buy Marseille.Originally posted by Rashid View PostDIC said they were "only interested in Liverpool" - well lots of PL clubs have been sold and they didn't buy did they? Whereas Gillet first tried to buy Villa according to Doug Ellis and then tried for Newcastle too.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

It was Moores duty as chairman to talk to the Americans.
DIC stalled on the deal, Moores talked to other interested parties, DIC pulled out.
Not the actions of a company who's "dream" it was to own LFC.
It is obvious you have an agenda here Rashid.

And perhaps also because they offered to keep Parry and Moores on perhaps?Originally posted by Rashid View PostMihir Bose is Gillett's close mate, he has been trumpetting Gillet for years and even broker the ground share story. He can't be trusted at all.
Ansari - said the 7 year thing is a total lie and wanted to know who circulated it, needless to say it died down.
The club was sold because the two American's offered more money, even Bose admitted this.
I was gutted when DIC pulled out and Hicks and Gillett tied up the deal because I wasn't convinced that the Americans knew much about soccer in general and the club in particular while DIC (or Ansari at least) seemed to be genuine fans. That seems to tie in with what you say about Gillett going for Newcastle and Villa.
Not saying DIC would have been better, we'll never know for sure but it seems clear that the Americans are breaking promises, and I'm gutted the way things are panning out at the mo. If they do sack Rafa then I dont think i want to line their pockets any more. I spend more money than I can afford on LFC as it is, and while I'll always love the club and team, but while I have no respect for the people running our club and no faith in where they are leading us I can no longer justify throwing my hard earned cash at them. All the money I've spent following the club over the last 10 years will have to be it and my priorities will have to change. Why should we follow them blindly and give them our hard earned cash when they blatanly lie to us and disregard our wishes and love for our manager?White liquid in a bottle = Milk

about to ask that. Great this, it seemed this forum was just starting to calm down and then some people start stirring people up.White liquid in a bottle = Milk
