That's the key question for me.
You amass fortunes by doing exactly things like that. Im not saying that was definitely their plan, but £300m profit from one investment may not sound a lot to people like them but as part of a portfolio of investments you get into multiplier territory.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

It was Moores duty as chairman to talk to the Americans.
DIC stalled on the deal, Moores talked to other interested parties, DIC pulled out.
Not the actions of a company who's "dream" it was to own LFC.

It is obvious you have an agenda here Rashid.

Can you prove this, also can Rashid prove that Gillet tried to buy Newcastle. Not sure the villa bit was't just a he enquired and that is it.

The club was sold because the two American's offered more money, even Bose admitted this.
And perhaps also because they offered to keep Parry and Moores on perhaps?

I was gutted when DIC pulled out and Hicks and Gillett tied up the deal because I wasn't convinced that the Americans knew much about soccer in general and the club in particular while DIC (or Ansari at least) seemed to be genuine fans. That seems to tie in with what you say about Gillett going for Newcastle and Villa.

Not saying DIC would have been better, we'll never know for sure but it seems clear that the Americans are breaking promises, and I'm gutted the way things are panning out at the mo. If they do sack Rafa then I dont think i want to line their pockets any more. I spend more money than I can afford on LFC as it is, and while I'll always love the club and team, but while I have no respect for the people running our club and no faith in where they are leading us I can no longer justify throwing my hard earned cash at them. All the money I've spent following the club over the last 10 years will have to be it and my priorities will have to change. Why should we follow them blindly and give them our hard earned cash when they blatanly lie to us and disregard our wishes and love for our manager?

about to ask that. Great this, it seemed this forum was just starting to calm down and then some people start stirring people up.

Well backing Rafa over any transfers was one thing they said and now it seems its all breaking down over the 4mil transfer of that bloke from AC Milan.

They haven't said they wont back him, they have said we will sort it all out on 16th December and want us all concentrating on the games coming up.

"it seems" being the crucial part of this post.

i.e: "it seems from what rumour merchants have posted on the internet"

I refer you to talk of Snoogy Doogy and "player-specific budgets" for one, and would then ask you to look at Rafa's summer net spend of about £20m, which is probably less than the money Rafa made himself for the club in the run to the Athens CL final.

It seems from what Rafa says.

Rafa says there are players available now and they wont act. They said they would back him. They now are not doing that. Thats got **** all to do with the internet.
