I have asked the following questiona few times but no one answers so here goes again. The possible new £500m debt is used to prove the ground will cost £500m to use RS4 even says in his stadium thread that it will cost that, Hicks has said it will cost that and the papers also say it. Then we have people using it a proof that the money they used to buy the club is included in it. It can not be both, if there is a £500m loan then the ground is all of the cost or it costs around £300m and the other £200m approx. is consolidated debt, which is it?

If you count in the £100m or so for the sponsored name for the stadium then £500m would probably cover both what the stadium will cost and what G&H paid for the club.

A sponsor will ot give the club all that upfront now or even when it is built, it will be a part of the deal every year (like Arsenal get). Also £100m does not cover their debt, they borrowed well over £200m as they had to borrw to clear our club debt (£80m) and some for transfers. The numbers don't add up.

£680m.

So it's around £180m that is missing.

The money for players probably was TV and CL money so they didn't have to borrow any money for that.
