As shaggy said its not down to the manager leaving, there is much more to this.

I know for sure my dad who is a die hard red, has a season ticket and love liverpool as much as any of his children, will probably stop supporting liverpool if this occurs...as to my dad liverpool where never a just a football, they where more than that. I think he feels if all this goes ahead and rafa is sacked and moriniho is brought in then, liverpool will no longer be this mythical thing and become just a football team
Just look at the face: it's vacant, with a hint of sadness. Like a drunk who's lost a bet.

Dont mean to patronise you or any of the lads on here but you have to support the club. It's an absolute disgrace what's happening and I've mulled over the idea that people will stop supporting the club and think it's wrong to do it.

If this **** does turn out like none of us want it to the club will still go on, I will be pissed off beyond belief but I wont be able to just forget about the club I've loved for so long. If we get Mourinho in I will consider not buying any merchandise/tickets but I'll always support the club.
Contrary to popular belief, I have huge genitals.

Hey listen mate…I didn’t mean to come across aggressively or as though I was having a pop. Feelings are running high….that’s all.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah, thanks for that. You know, if we’d have been relegated once, I’d have walked away and taken my ball home.

          FFS.

This is far worse than relegation. It’s not about success, glory or a lack of it. Jesus wept.

There are long-time Reds on here, Liverpudlians to boot, prepared to potentially walk away (PLY, Sir Bob…amongst others) – I DARE YOU (and not just you – everyone on here spouting patronising bollocks about ‘walking on’) to patronise them with the same ****e.

Like I said, there is no right or wrong and people will react differently. I suggest you try and deal with it, rather than patronising the **** out of anyone prepared to stand by their principles.
I think a lot of people will walk away, but because this is LFC and it gets in your blood all of the true fans (BOB, yourself etc) will come back once they have calmed down as the love for the club will be too strong. I would get angry but after a week or 2 of sulking I would be back to the way I am now. LFC goes on.
Marky19 will just **** off back to Arsenal.

Dont worry fella. Every single person on here has their feelings hitting the roof. I just cant wait for this match so we can show the yanks what we want, and if that doesnt work we can show Rafa how much we love him. The result really doesnt bother me, unless it will mean Rafa is sacked by the end of the week. I want to feel proud to be a Liverpool fan when I hear the noise tonight

The result always matters. I hate seeing my club loose.

I do too. But if we lose tonight and the atmosphere for Rafa is how I hope it will be then I wont go to bed unhappy

Emotions are running high, for sure, no less so with myself. I have a season ticket at Anfield, and I love Benitez (in a football sense) completely, but I think we have to maintain a modicum of clarity here and not jump the gun.

I accept that things don't look all that rosy at the minute but we need to take time to see the situation play out, and you never know, we could dodge this silver bullet totally.

Another key thing to understand here, for me, is that whilst people are, understandably, becoming very worried about Liverpool losing their famous dignity at the hands of the owners, we need to accept that Benitez really hasn't acted in a manner which one could call "The Liverpool Way". He has acted petulently and part of this situation is of his own doing. So before everybody goes on a mass Yank-hunt I think a bit of perspective would be useful.

Been trying to say that but keep on ****ing it up.

Also a mass yank hunt with verbal attacks on them will only make the situation worse. We need to keep everything tonight positive and only about Rafa. Talk of how people will react to the Americans in December and the chating towards Foster Gillet tonight could make the Yanks sack him and stay away from the club only meaning more problems for the club.

Its a bit more than that, though isn't it? When GH left we got rid of the French contingent (which was no big loss).
If Rafa were to leave I wonder how long we'd keep Pepe, Xabi, Torres etc
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

I can guarantee that if the yanks sack Rafa the club wont be getting a ****ing penny out of me until they have ****ed off.

So I suppose I am a glory hunter now.
