I think folk have gone a touch over the top about his performance last night, but aye…he was MUCH improved – if the MOM stretched to 4, he’d have got 4th place in my vote. He’s been well below-par this season but that was much better.
A great servant and hideously underrated. He’s getting on though and he’ll need replacing sooner rather than later.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’Comment

Finnan strikes me as someone who looks after himself very well - I wouldn't be surprised if he's around Anfield for another 3/4 years. Rafa likes old defenders!!!

Do you think spearing could do it? I know he plays either CB or CM but from what I hear he is performing very well for the reserves and maybe full back is one position his height wouldnt be an issue? could be a good second RB (this is assuming he is right footed btw)Comment
