You misunderstand mate, I am happy if all works out right and as fans we have no right to expect a specific stadium I just would like it to have certain things (my wish list for the stadium) bt I think Parry shouldn't have bothered with time frames in the statement as he could easily be proven wrong.Originally posted by sean_lfc View PostEven if there are delays (let us assume 6 months, which I doubt anyway and have no way of proving), they would be minute, considering it's going to take ****ing years to build anyway. It's not like they OWE us building it on time, I'm damn glad that we have someone who's actually making it happen, so to just critisize as I see fit is not the way forward, in my humblest of opinions.

Parry said: “We are now considering two schemes but the stadium will be a 70,000 seater."
So one is RS4's mate the other could be a revamp by the Dallas architects.
If they both cost a similar amount how about as a PR exercise letting the supporter vote for the one they like the most?We come not to play.

Not, the club will be paying the council big money for the plans to be looked at, possibly over a million. The council maybe getting a bit worried that it may never happen so I expect to see some comments coming from them.Originally posted by Cormack74 View Post**** me, how pissed off must the planners be with us by now.

Aye, I can understand where you're coming from, but he's just giving out information, damned if you do, damned if you dont...If he didn't say anything, people would then read between the lines and say 'See, he's not saying anything about the timescale, so it's bound to take longer! Sack Parry!', and if he did say 'Well, we don't know yet whether it will be delayed' he'd be ostracised. And if he just says what he would expect, ie 'There will be no delays' then he gets ostracised for not 'speaking the truth'....Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostYou misunderstand mate, I am happy if all works out right and as fans we have no right to expect a specific stadium I just would like it to have certain things (my wish list for the stadium) bt I think Parry shouldn't have bothered with time frames in the statement as he could easily be proven wrong.
Aw well, whatever, I will continue to wait and see what happens. Either way, we'll be getting a big new stadium.

If it's £1m for every set of plans they wont have to worry about running a budget deficit for some time.Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostNot, the club will be paying the council big money for the plans to be looked at, possibly over a million. Especially the blue nose leader of the council, i wonder how long until we get the 'shared' stadium debate resurface?Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostNot, the club will be paying the council big money for the plans to be looked at, possibly over a million. What next from G & H (via Parry)? I for one would not be surprised if they go back on their word and look at a ground share again. Nothing surprises me now - as far as I am concerned they have lost any integrity they had.
