I wouldn't be surprised if they were pelted when they came to Anfield if they sacked Rafa and backed down on the best stadium in the world and other promises of snoogy doggy etc.

Let's hope they find their senses. And that includes Parry.

G&H wouldn't be able to visit a game at Anfield if they sack Rafa. **** off back to the States would probably be some of the nicer things shouted at them.

I can't see them being able to stay on if they sack Rafa, I really can't. They would be so hated that they would be forced to sell up.

It is naive to think it is all rumours!!! It is obvious to everyone that something is going on behind the scenes. The rumours are not helped by the silence of Rick Parry which is deafening

why has Rick Parry publicly denied newspaper reports about hicks on 2 occasions (hicks gillet rift & hicks selling up) but not done the same for Rafa? Do you not think something is wrong with this?

I think the point is that we don't actually know what is going on and it's easy to allow the speculation to run away with itself to the point where things are taken as fact.

For example, if there was a board meeting last night, was it an emergency one as it was described or simply at a time convenient for all concerned? Was it to discuss Rafa's position as first imagined or the stadium?

It's so easy to get carried away.

If there has not been a statement by Monday then we know the storiesin the papers about the stadium are true. As stated Parry came out with a statement about Hicks, this is a significant story that if untrue they will want to silence quickly.

The only thing the Yanks have done wrong so far is not come out and refute the "Rafa out" stuff. They could quite easily think that is not an option because it would only be seen as a "nail in the coffin" stuff. Remember the Rafa out stuff started at the NOTW.

What we need to do is support Rafa AND the Team on Sunday. What happens after that and more importantly the "meeting" will tell all, IMO.

I think they are interested in the team because without a half decent team there will be no money.

However as you say the money is what drives them as they are certainly no philanthropists.

As I recall in one of his early interviews Hicks admitted that it was the revenue streams which persuaded him to get involved in the first place.
