      So new stadium 2020 then?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

So this is what we know. We're not getting the stadium we were promised. We may be forced to take on the debt (which means 30 million per annum interest payments), also likely is that we wont be buying the players we need in winter.

There's not a lot of good news there whichever way you cut it.

70,000 seats . I couldn't give a **** what it looks like from the outside, it will be an awesome sight on a match day. No point spending money on bells and whistles.

I appreciate your input Sean but thats how I feel mate and thats the way it is for me. Its not about the cash its about the manner in which they have gone about things, completely without class. Hicks more so than Gillette it must be said but they are a partnership so they are both as bad as each other.

Running our club from 6000miles away - their finger is so way off the pulse. Everything they say or do seems so knee-jerk (I can see the heirony Sean).

Fair enough, if that's your stance...however what I 'fear' and what you have said so yourself is that you've made your mind up and that whatever is done now will do nothing to change your opinion of them. And this is what I believe many others will do too, and until the new stadium is unvealed I will be reserving my judgement. For us it's easy to sit here and then comment on hindsight, however nobody on here runs a football club of the magnitude of Liverpool and I can't see anyone being able to validly comment on what's going on.

This is a big problem. Aside from the physical distance there is also a huge cultural gap. They really don't seem to understand what they've bought into.

Before they took over Gillette had a history of bankruptcies, both had poor records with their other sporting projects. This is in the past but is material to our concerns about what might happen with the club now.

Words are cheap, top class footballers aren't.

Did you get this info from the same source that told you Valencia were on par with Real and Barca with regards to spending power?

'It's all bad publicity' <- who makes things 'public'? The press do...says it all for me.

'Making us look like cunts' by what...doing what's best for the club and not wasting £200m pounds on useless steel? If you recall correctly, the initial planning application way back in October 2003 was submitted with an £80m, 60000 seater design. These costs have obviously over time spiralled, however now £200m pounds are what, loose change?

So if the Americans wasted £200m pounds on bull**** and didn't 'go back on their word' (everyone can make mistakes, granted maybe the new design shouldn't have been presented with such aplomb and I agree that it makes us look a little silly, but ultimately I give 100% a **** about our team and not what the other teams/fans/press think about us), then they would be better owners?

Stop trolling. The info is in the public domain.

I also never said valencia were on a par with Real Madrid and Barca in terms of money. I said that the financial gap between them was less than between liverpool and chelsea/utd. If you're going to troll at least get it right.

So one is RS4's mate the other could be a revamp by the Dallas architects.

If they both cost a similar amount how about as a PR exercise letting the supporter vote for the one they like the most?
I was thinking that at lunchtime.

Looks like HSK have been asked to dwonscale their plans, and AFL asked to upscale theirs. We shall see what happens.
                              Oh I don't know.
