Agreed. Some people seem genuinely disappointed that it's not a 60K Parry Bowl so they can vent even more.

I'd rather we didn't have G&H, prefer even more that we hadn't got to this point with all the sh*t that has gone on for the last 3 months; but we have got them - if even just for now -, and we also now have plans for a 71K unique stadium, which is some way forward from where we were last year.

By all means let's maintain a dignified and controlled skepticism about their intentions, watch them like hawks, and continue to let them know what is expected of them as 'custodians' of our club.

But let's also all get on with playing and watching some winning football, (hopefully) signing some players and (even more hopefully) backing the manager.

if you zoom in on the picture it isnt 2 tier, there just seems to be a few rows missing on the left hand side that allows you to see into the stand behind the seats.

Did notice that Matt, looks a bit sloppy though & wondered why they would leave it blank - must be a reason for this??

Is there still any chance you can get your mate to give you their designs for it. I'd be very interested to see what AFL's new designs were like. It would also be interesting to hear why AFL did not get the job.

How much do we actually know about what the Yanks have actually been doing? The stuff in the press? They all claimed it was a done deal that DIC would move in. And guess what they were wrong. THe press get on bandwagons and generate stories. We all know this.

THe Klinsmann stuff what do we know happened behind closed doors? Did Rafa threaten to quit or do his usual or having his agent leak stories about interest from various clubs to strengthen his hand? Did they look at Klinsmann as an insurance policy (which in my opinion is fine). When Hicks publicly revealled this was Rafa acting up again and hence it was a way of keeping him in his place?

Or are the two yanks just a pair of useless ****s?

We dont know enough of the internal detail.

What we should do now is stop all this fecking about and concentrating on football and in particular ensuring Champions League football for next season.

We should make a fuller judgement on the Yanks in 1-2 years.

I don't think they can as the 'smaller' stand can not be extended due to it being next to a river or being enclosed, i think the Mancs have maxed out.

For the record i've always liked the design, doesn't look too different to the original which will help with planning permission, the main difference looks like the height of the roof, like many others mentioned i think the original was more future proofed in that it could have gone up to the 80k seating limit. But all in all i like the design, it's unique and when teams visit they will know they have come to Anfield.
