Have to say, I am concerned about the open corners, aside from the fact it looks a bit cheap, it won't hold the noise like the old anfield. I'm not convinced by this fella's design but he makes a good point about the acoustics.

It's difficult to tell really. The emirates doesn't seem to contain the sound with its rounded corners, but maybe that's just the size of the stadium. It has probably got a lot to do with structure and materials too. I would have thought that big gaps would have stopped a lot of the sound moving around the stadium though just from a human perspective.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

Just a thought on the AFL designs. It has been said on here that they have done a lot of work for the sheikh. Is it possible that DIC haqve told them that if they buy LFC the contract is theirs hence publicising the plans to gauge public opinion? TBH having looked at both sets of plans I think AFL's looks more impressive?Dare we believe

I'm not sure, maybe its just a "look at what we can do " type of thing, do you think this is worth a thread of its own? not sure it will get the type of exposure on this thread...Originally posted by blacky View PostJust a thought on the AFL designs. they look ****ing ****e. no imagination at all. i'd be absolutely gutted if they'd been revealed as the new plans, would have been a huge step down.Originally posted by blacky View PostJust a thought on the AFL designs. It's actually not to dis-similar to their original Parry Bowl. They've added a bit of glass and the dual arches, also the single tier kop, but it's actually quite similar to their first plans.Originally posted by wishiwasascouser View Posthttp://www.afl-uk.com/projects.php?a...&projectID=227 AFL's new anfield designs are on the site!!
